Visual Art is every form of art that we can see visually. From sketches and paintings to cinematography and photography, it covers it all. It has been playing such an important role since the very beginning and now it has grown in so many aspects.

Here is a list of 7 contemporary, go-to artists that you must definitely follow on Instagram.

1) Koketit: Koketit is a brand by an Israeli artist, Shira Barzilay. She is known for her minimalistic abstract line drawings with a feminine twist. This perspective of illustrations was extraordinary which caught the eye of so many designers in the fashion industry as well.

2) Pablo Quoos: He is an art/creative director in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is one of the best visual artists I’ve ever come across. The concepts, the imagery, the aesthetics, the whole mood that he creates with his work is exceptionally good. His designs have balance and the way he plays with different images, metaphorically, is commendable.

3) Salman Khoshroo: He is an Iranian artist who creates emotive portraits of different people which are just a few strokes away from becoming something recognizable.

4) Farhan Hussain: He is an Indian Visual Artist. He does documentary portrait photography. According to him, most of his photography revolves around capturing the human form and how he communicates with it.

5) Michael Oliver Love: He is a South African photographer who creates photographs that challenge the societal norms of beauty and gender. Some of his works include male nudes, female nudes, mid shots of men with jewels, heels and a lot more. His color palette has a very earthy vibe to it.

6) Aykut Aydogdu: He is an artist based in Istanbul. He creates surreal artworks digitally and those are mainly concentrated on the dilemmas of daily life. The most common subjects of his artworks are female figures that are interacting with or are actually becoming different elements of nature.

7) Martina Matencio: She is a photographer who lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. In her photographs, she creates a sensual and nostalgic atmosphere in which the protagonist reflects the fragility and beauty of the moment. Her Instagram username is lalovenenoso. Her color palette is warm and the way she balances that in her photography is appreciable.
