30 years in the making, 70 year old director from the originals, and true to the Road Warrior mentality on what the world could be like when the world we know is no more.

Mad Max: Fury Road is a post-apocalyptic action film directed by George Miller and stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult and this movie is the continuation of the Mad Max series.

Now if you’ve never heard of the Mad Max series, first of where have you been and why do you watch movies?  You have got no idea how much these three films have influenced the world of cinema.

It all began in 1979 with Mad Max, and then followed by three films: Mad Max 2 (1979), Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) and then finally Mad Max: Fury Road in 2015, which in my opinion was a great revenge movie they’re all directed by George Miller.

With Mad Max: Fury Road we finally get to see a new look into this world from the same person who created it.

In this movie Max played by Tom Hardy has been captured by this strange group of people who are led by this person that  they almost view as their redeemer of souls, Immortan Joe: a god figure

Inside the desert fortress The Citadel, Charlize Theron’s character (Furiosa) is trying to get a group of people(Immortans Joe’s Treasured Wives) to safety that she cares for very deeply while also finding her homeland. Meanwhile Mad Max is the guy caught in the middle of all this where he has to figure out which side he is.

So you will be wondering, okay this is another action movie, what’s new?

What sets this movie apart from other great action movies is the colors. The contrast you see between the orange sand and the deep blue sky accompanied with brilliant cinematography, the breathtaking action sequences (one of the action sequence took around 140 days) , the glorious special effects work (and lack of CGI), breathtaking soundtracks that glues you in one place and lastly the visual’s the elements of art used to design those set pieces, backgrounds and characters which are so perfect that you can freeze this movie at any time and you have a poster for your wall. In my opinion it is truly a visually spellbinding piece of art no matter how many times you watch it.

Here are a few examples for your consideration.
